ESP-r has facilities to describe PCM and embed them within a model, even into
a transparent surface (some PCM are not opaque).  We are currently in the
process of updating ESP-r PCM facilities based on some recent PhD
research in ESRU.  Hopefully this will be merged into the standard
version of ESP-r in the near future.
