Dear Gunter

if you are looking for the impact in regard to daylighting, then yes - by setting up coupling with Radiance. Also, there is an "advanced optics" function which may also be what you are looking for (bi-directional data model where the two directions are in the plane of the transparent surface).

Best
Achim

Betreff: [esp-r] modelling a BRTF in ESP ... ???

Dear ESP-Specialists,

does the current version 11.10 of ESP -r provide the modelling of a translucent facade construction, whose optical properties are defined by a Bidirectional-Reflection-Transmission-Function (BRTF) ?

Regards,
Gunter
