Dear Koji Takemasa
Thank you very much for your reply.
I'm sorry - I should have given more information.
I do have gcc44 installed (via fink as you suggested)
I have /sw/lib/gcc4.4/lib/x86_64/libgfortran.3.dylib
but esp-r is looking for
/sw/lib/gcc4.4/lib/i386/libgfortran.3.dylib
Experimenting, I have tried a symbolic link from the x86_64 folder to i386,
at which point i received a different error
dyld: Library not loaded: /sw/lib/gcc4.4/lib/i386/libgfortran.3.dylib
  Referenced from: /opt/esru/esp-r/bin/./prj
Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:
        /sw/lib/gcc4.4/lib/i386/libgfortran.3.dylib: mach-o, but wrong
architecture
I can't see from a way from fink / fink commander to install a second 32bit
copy of gcc44 but perhaps this is possible somehow?
Many thanks
Richard
