[esp-r] Re: installing esp-r on OSX 10.6.4

Hi.

I am using ESP-r and Radiance on Mac OS X10.6.4 in the office. The installation procedure that I did is shown as follows. 

1)gcc-leopard-intel-bin.tar.gz is downloaded from ..this site.. (http://hpc.sourceforge.net/). Never download gfortran-snwleo-intel-bin.tar.gz. 

2)The binary is installed. 
ch /
sudo tar zxvf gcc-leopard-intel-bin.tar.gz

3)Next, binary (compressed archive of X11 ESP-r distribution for OSX 10.5: X11 version) of ESP-r is downloaded. 

*Please note the thing that is not the GTK version. If you want to use the GTK version, the GTK library is separately necessary. 

4)The binary of ESP-r is installed. 
ch /
sudo tar zxvf esp-r_x11_v11-1.9_osx_intel_in_opt.tar.gz

5)Please set the following environment variables. 
export PATH=/opt/ray/bin:$PATH

hi all

I tried to install esp-r on macbook intel core 2 duo but experienced problems compiling the sources.

So I download the 10.5 version of the compressed archive of esp-r on my new macbook intel core 2 duo and followed the readme. 

here is the error message i have:

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libgfortran.3.dylib
  Referenced from: /opt/esru/esp-r/bin/bps
  Reason: no suitable image found.  Did find:
	/usr/local/lib/libgfortran.3.dylib: mach-o, but wrong architecture

	/usr/local/lib/libgfortran.3.dylib: mach-o, but wrong architecture
Trace/BPT trap

Can somebody help me overcome that installation process?
