If you want to look at the source code that does the checking
go to the folder esruclm and give a 'grep -ni typical *.F' in a
command line and this will provide some indicators of where
in the code typical periods are determined.

The subroutine that sets up the criteria is DDRADSUM and
this relies on subroutine clmddscan. Note that ESP-r will
attempt to find and scan a file named 'climatelist' in order
to see if there is a definition of seasons in the climate file
(e.g. when does spring start and end).

Subject: [esp-r] Typical weeks

Hi all!

Anyone knows where i can find the algorithm to determine the typical weeks in the climate file?

I understand what is explained in the cookbook, but i need more details.

Best regards,

Paulo Tavares
