In the following message the key information is "sh: import: not found "

The executable 'import' is part of ImageMagick. Install this package
and you will have the tool you need. And some users will just start
up a small X terminal and give the import command within that
so that they can do it at any point during their ESP-r sessions.

The syntax is
   import filename.extension

Import will understand extensions like gif and jpg and create a
file of the relevant type in the folder where the import command
was given. And once the file is created use the command
  display filename.extension

to check what you have captured.

Subject: [esp-r] Image result capturing problem

Dear Esp-r users,

When I capture an image result from the esp-r into an image file using the capture button it seems to be done correctly, at least on the interface; however when I check for the file in the folder there is no file.

I traced it in the the terminal and I found this massage appears:

sh: import: not found

However I use "Print Screen" button as an alternative solution I wonder if can I fix the original problem in someway? I use Esp-r 11.8 and Ubuntu 9.10.

Regards,

Mostapha
