[esp-r] pid exemplar

i'm using the standard version of esp-r release 11.7 on my windows xp.
i was trying to simulate the pid exemplar that came with the 11.7 release (both pid.cfg and pid.ss.cfg), 
after opening the cfg file, browse/edit/simulate, simulation, integrated simulation, i got the following message:
