It would be helpful if you supplied the version of ESP-r that you are using
as well as the operating system that you are running. Also, for ESP-r
to work correctly the localle of the computer should be set to the UK
or USA to ensure that decimal places are read correctly.
Also, if you could attach one of the zone geometry files that is giving
a problem this would help.
Does the naming problem happen with the 2nd and 3rd zone if you
do not copy a surface from another zone?

Subject: [esp-r] building a 6zone structure
hello everybody,
i am currently having problems in building 6zones for my study. i have no problems with the first zone since it does not have to copy any of its surfaces from other zones. the problem starts every time i copy surfaces from other zones. whenever i build the zones, i encounter a problem in the naming of the surfaces. it seems to be a hexadecimal symbol that takes the place of the surface name. when i delete that surface, all the other surfaces shift names and the hexadecimal symbol is still there. i end up deleting all the surfaces or doing the whole building all over since when i delete surfaces, other zones are affected.
what could be the problem?
thanks!
