Should downloading the trunk require a user/password? I think it didn't,
before.

The name and password are the sequence that you had to
give when the branch was originally setup.  On some machines
you are asked for the login name and password for the
local machine that you are working on prior to the account
name that cvsdude uses for access.

I try the new suggested repository

https://espr.svn.cvsdude.com/esp-r/

but it asks me for Userename and password.
Any Idea?
