Hi Dave,

GSLedit was not originally developed for use with ESP-r. It's lack of
portability is definitely a shortcoming. The original scope of the
research project to develop the complex fenestration facility did not
even encompass a GUI frontend (this is the academic world after all).
To make this tool accessible, I saw an opportunity to use GSLedit as
it is uniquely suited for quick synthesis of glazing/shading
combinations with very little burden on the user.

For the time being, whis will be annoying for Linux users but should
not pose a problem for Cygwin/Native Windows/Virtual Box users.
Perhaps at some point in the near future, a database of pre-defined
glazing/shading systems will be added to ESP-r.

Regards,
Bart
