Teresa,
Once you're in Project Manager and your model has been opened, do the following:
1) browse/edit/simulate
2) j) zones
3) use default ctl file name and make new file.
4) Use "one" control day type for now
5) Use 1 period
6) Start at "0.000" (midnight)
7) Click on "e) 1 0 0 0...."
8) in "period data", click "a) 1 0.00 db..."
9) click "2) Law: free floating" and select "a Basic controller..."
10) click exit
11) Here, you can change the setpoints and capacities. Use very big capacities at first, so that you don't max out. And you can set the heating or cooling setpoint to 25C.
I would check out the ESP-r Cookbook before proceeding, however. Here: http://www.esru.strath.ac.uk/Documents/ESP-r_cookbook_exercises_sep2008.pdf
