Dear Chandrayee

between 16.06.2006 and 21.06.2006 you can find some information on lighting
and control in the list archive. Anyway, the additional electrical data is
for an electric net. If you did not define an electric net, it is not used.
Also, be aware that any data reported by res on controlled lighting is
dubious, to say the least.

Achim

Subject: [esp-r] Problem with daylight simulation

Hello All

I am trying to implement daylight dimming system in ESP-r. Is it first
necessary to mention incorporate lights under operational details and then
create the casual gains control file. For a classroom first I have given a
normal lighting schedule of 8:00-18:00 and then applied dimmable daylight
dependant artifial light control with ideal dimming control type and
calculation based on analytical daylight factor. After doing annual
simulation the hours of lights is still 0. I have connected electrical data
to lights but have not created any electrical result file. Could that be the
reason? Anyway the use of lights should be registered even if there is not
electrical connection. Btw. the glazing fraction is only 30% of the longer
facade facing south.

Thank you

Chandrayee
