About AutoCAD import. The standard version of ESP-r
has some bugs in the import which have been fixed
in the new release (out soon). If you need it sooner
then do an svn checkout of
https://esp-r.net/espr/esp-r/branches/development_branch

The DXF version to be read in needs to be version
12. Each zone should be placed in a different named
layer. There are some past messages which discucss
further details of the entities that can be read in.
Or take an ESP-r model and export it to AutoCAD and
have a look.

Subject: [esp-r] Import model from AutoCAD

Hello all!

I'm trying to import a building from AutoCAD to ESP-r. But the errors don´t
stop... Can anyone tell me something about this? Where i can find more
literature about this (the cookbook is not a good help... and the tutorial
web page also...)? Anyone knows an interface to do this? Or, by your
experience, it is preferable to make the model using the ESP-r CAD or bitmap?

Thanks very much.

Regards,

Paulo Tavares
