Hallo Chriatian,

Thank you, but then I have to set the parameters for each siumlation run.

Following my control function:

* Control function
# sensed value from function generator.
   -6 2 0 0 # sensor data
# actuates air point of the current zone
    0 0 0 # actuator data
    1 # No. day types
    1 365 # valid Tue-01-Jan - Tue-31-Dec
1 # No. of periods in day
    0 2 0.000 # ctl type, law (free floating), start @
      0. # No. of data items

-6: ramp function generator

Is it right, that the "ctl typ" is unimportant, because -6 means that the input parameters were set at the simulation time?

How could I manage different timesteps? E.g:
00:00 - 08:00 const. temperature 10 °C
08:00 - 12:00 temperature increase 20 - 50°C (linear)
12:00 - 14:00 const. temperature 50 °C
14:00 - 18:00 temperature decrease 50 - 10°C (linear)
18:00 - 24:00 const. temperature 10 °C

Is this possible with a sawtooth function, or with a nested function?

Best regards
Monika

You set the input parameters at simulation time. When you press either 'silent simulation' or 'interactive', esp-r notices the missing input and asks for them. I have tried with a sawtooth function.

Dear all,

I have a question about zone control. I would like to heat/cool a room with a ramp (or other) function. Is it possible?

In "sensor details" I found sensor type k: use value from function generator. This generator needs 4 values, but I can't find the input menu. On the other hand I would expect a possibility for a ramp function in "actuator details".

Has anyone an idea how to control the zone temperature with a ramp function?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards

Monika
