A question about locating methods within ESP-r.

There are two general approaches - look in Prof Joe Clarkes book
Energy Simulation in Building Design 2nd Edition published
by Butterworth Heinemann 2001.

The other is to look in the source code. The most convenient
way to do this is to use the grep command and the key word
that you are interested in - e.g. luminance. Often the code
will have comments about the method used. A hint - you will
find some of the calculations in esrubld/solar.F

Subject: [esp-r] to get the sky luminance?

Dear ESP-r users,

what model is used in ESP-r to get the sky luminance from the direct and diffusion radiation climate data in the weather file? and which source code file is responsible for this?

Thank you.

ZZ
