[esp-r] Updating or changing the 'climatelist' from asciii or binany climate data

There are a few forms of Canadian climate data ready for ESP-r listed on
this site:

However, it seems difficult to import the entire set into the 'climatelist'
within the directory structure for consistent use.

I am simulating Canadian housing in different regions and would like to
create a use a 'climatelist' consisting only of the climates at the above
site.

Does anyone have information on how to accomplish this?
