Revision 1794 on development branch corrects this error. Working copies
of development_branch can be updated using the 'svn update' command,
while sub-branches can be updated following the instructions included in
http://www.esru.strath.ac.uk/Documents/subversion.pdf

Note that these changes only affect the development branch and
developer-specific sub-branches on ESP-r central. Readers who use
pre-compiled ESP-r binaries obtained from ESRU's website, or who compile
ESP-r from the release branch can safely ignore these messages.

Happy merging,

 - Alex

This is a know problem and has been fixed and marked as an urgent
'please-take-this'. It is in the queue to move into the development
branch.

Essentailly the path variable name is being corrupted because an error
message is overwirting it in esruprj/folders.F near line 264. Look for
a statement begining with write(path

Subject: [esp-r] model/zone file creation

Hello,

I have recently compiled ESP-r v11.3 (r1792) from the development_branch
and am
experiencing a strange problem. During the creation of a model, ESP-r is
unable
to create any model/zone files. When I define a zone in 'geometry and
attribution', then save the *.geo file and exit back to 'zones
composition'
menu, ESP-r is unable to find the *.geo file. In fact, the model folders
do not
contain any files (.cfg,.cnn, etc.).

I am running ESP-r in Cygwin and have not had such a problem with
previous
releases. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,
---
