Giulio,

you can download the "Data model summary ESP-r Version 9 Series" from the ESRU 
web site. You can find it under the publications section (see "User 
Manuals"). You can then read section 5.9 in regards with the CFD in ESP-r.

In addition, you can also download Negrao's and Beausoleil-Morrison's PhD 
thesis or have a look at Joe Clarke's book (see again at the ESRU web site - 
publications).
